Rapid City, South Dakota–On Wednesday, November 27, Children’s Home Society of South Dakota (CHS) announced the retirement of Sue Andrews, Clinical Unit Supervisor. Andrews has dedicated 46 years of exceptional service, spirit and tenacity to the Black Hills Children's Home, Rockerville Campus.
“I do believe I will miss everything,” said Andrews. “Every day that I have been allowed to be with CHS has left me with enormous pride for being included in the mission to help and heal children and their families. Not being here will leave a void in my life that cannot be filled by anything else.”
“What do you say to someone who has dedicated 46 years of their life to Children’s Home Society?” asked President and CEO Michelle Lavallee. “You say ‘thank you!’ Sue, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all you have done for our kids, their families and our staff. Children’s Home will never forget you and neither will all those kids you have helped along the way.”
Please join us in celebrating Andrews’ impressive career this Wednesday, December 11. We will be gathering in her honor from 4-7 p.m. MT at the new Children’s Home Society Rapid City campus (formerly National American University site), 5301 Mount Rushmore Road, Rapid City, SD.
